How can you get the IP Address of your wireless router when you cannot connect to the wireless network?
I need to get my router's IP Address, to find out why it won't connect, or to change it to G Mode

1. Connect with a wire.
2. You'll need to plug in to your router via the Ethernet cable port in the back. Once you've done that, you can access your router and change configuration settings. Then, simply unplug to test wireless settings.
Hope that helps.
(You could also try randomly testing IPs. The most common I've seen for routers are 10.0.0.1, 192.168.1.1, and 192.168.0.1. But, it won't do much good if you aren't connected in the first place.)
3. Connect a network cable from your computer to the router. It should now connect to it.
To find the router's IP Address make sure it's connected then go to Start, Run.
Type cmd and then press enter. Now type "ipconfig /all" (without the quotes). Find where it says default gateway near ethernet adaptor. There should be a number starting with 192.168 . This is the router's IP address.
4. if it is not connected than it has no ip to connect it you must un plug you're modem and if a battery is there remove that after the un hooking plug the ethernet to the router and then replug and reset your modem
