How can i find my wireless router IP address (DNS?)?

I'm very close to sharing my macbook interenet connection with my xbox 360. however, i keep getting a "Failure" at the DNS server.

i found my IP address..but now i need to find the IP address of my wireless router.

1. If you had mentioned the make and model of your router someone would be able to give you the IP address.

2. Go to the companies website who makes your router. They will have the information.

3. goto your start menu and click RUN then type in cmd then type ipconfig /all your router will be listed as "Default Gateway"

If your using Vista, in the start menu in the search box, type run then in the results click the run link and then type in cmd then type ipconfig /all your router will be listed as "Default Gateway"

4. Mine came in the installation box.

5. probably 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1

6. check your ip - the default gateway is the ip of the router
