How do I obtain my D-Link router IP address so that I can password protect my wireless network?

I have a D-Link router but forgot how to obtain its IP address so that I can password protect my wireless network using the website. How do I obtain the router IP address and then put a password so that no one can use my wireless internet??

1. Open a Window's Command Prompt. Type in ipconfig and hit enter. The Default Gateway will be the IP address of the router.

2. Go to 192.168.1.1; if prompted for a password, enter "admin." Then go from there to the menus. The initial password "may" be the coded number on the tag on the bottom of the router.

3. Most likly your IP address will be 192.168.0.1 this is the default IP address of most of their routers.

4. Go to start/run and type cmd and enter. Then type ipconfig and enter.
The bottom number is the default gateway (router) address. Enter this in your browser, then your router user name and password. Go to wireless security and set encryption.

5. It should be http://192.168.0.1 if the default has not been changed. Then just follow the menus to set the wireless security key.
