Router Design

BT home hub phone with another router?

I have a bt home hub which i need to change (for gaming purposes) but i have to keep the wireless hub phone working. The new router which i am getting is a belkin which is designed to be compatible with bt broadband, does anyone know if the phone will still work when i change router, will it need setting up or not will it not work all together? thanks
