i'm looking to buy a new router and i have fios...?
i was wondering if I have to buy a router designed by fios or if i cud just by the router and then have fios do something with it

1. You can buy any router.2. You cam buy any router you want and it will work with anything. doesnt matter what brand you buy.
3. NO you cannot. The routers are set up to the specific type of signal being sent. You cannot get a cable signal on a fiber optic router and vice versa. You will destroy the router.
