How do you connect a wireless router to a wireless router?

How do i connect a wireless router to a wireless router(using a wire) to create two separate networks? Is it even possible?

1. Yes, you can connect a cable from one of the ports of Router 1 to the WAN port of Router 2. Most routers should be auto-sensing, but if it doesn't hook up, you may need a crossover cable.

Then, on router 2 check the owner;s manual for different modes that it can work in. If you want it to be a separate network, then Router 2 will have to do NAT and DHCP for the computers on its net, and the router's base (Gateway) address will have to be changed, so that it is not the same as Router 1

So if Router 1 is at 192.168.0.1 then router 2 should be set to 192.168.2.1 for example, so it's machines are in a different subnet. Write down the settings!
