Question about router acting as access point?

I have a router that is acting simply as an access point. I disabled the DHCP served and changed its router IP to the same as the main router. However, I can no longer access the router (access point) configuration page. Is there a way that I could temporarily regain access to the page? Possibly by disconnecting the routed and using a static IP?

1. Make sure the router ip isn't the same as the router it's connecting to. ie. If the main router ip is 192.168.1.1 and so is the access point router, try changing the access point one to 192.168.2.1 or something like that.

If that doesn't work, try installing DD-WRT if you haven't already. It's pretty easy to do with that.

Hope this helps!

I pulled a page that may help?
