If i buy a wireless router, does the router come with internet?

Im planning on purchasing a wireless router, but i only have iternet through a cable going through the back of mycomputer. When i buy the router is the wireless internet access going to immediately be available?

1. The router should come with another ethernet cord (the same cable that connects the modem to the computer. Plug the modem into the router instead of the computer (make sure you use the "in" port and not one of the "out" ports on the router), and then plug the router into the computer. Then, run the router's set-up utility to change the name of the network and put some security on it.

2. Unplug the plug from your PC and plug it into the WAN port of the router. Temporarily plug your PC into the router with a an RJ45 cable into one of the LAN ports (should come with router) to set up the router. After you set up the router, you won't need the cable (from the router to your PC) anymore. Make sure you set up a password in the router so your network is secure.
