What wireless router is fastest on a cable internet connection?
My current router is a about 4 years old and I am in need of an upgrade. What would be the fastest router on that sort of a connection? I'm currently on Comcast Cable internet.

1. A Wireless N router would probably be best. More range for your wireless. Any brand would really work I'd usually get a Linksys cause they're easy to set up.2. It really depends on the type of wireless card you have in either your laptop or desktop. Wireless cards come in either B, G, or N. If you have a wireless B, or G card you need a router that handles the B or G bands. Now the N band is the newest and fastest but if you don't have a wireless N card in your laptop or desktop it won't do you any good. So if you are going to upgrade you need to start with your wireless card first then the router.
