How do you change linksys router settings when web access and remote access are disabled?
I have connected a straight through cat5e cable directly from the router to my computer. The only way I know how to connect is through the web browser but if web access is disabled, then it wouldn't work, Right? I 've been an IT tech for 6 years and I do not know how to go around this without reseting the router. Please do not give me solutions involving the reset of the router.

1. I also have a Linksys router and I checked the settings. For web Access there are two options:HTTP and HTTPS there is no option to disable web access, however there is an option to disable wireless access.

2. well the html page may be blocked through a wireless connection but by connecting a laptop or if you don't have that bring a desktop over and connecting it to the router using a ethernet cable you should be able to access the router interface.
