Anyone know a good place online to buy a used router ?

Looking to buy a used router from a reputable and secure online network hardware reseller. Thank!

1. www.ebay.com
www.ebay.co.uk

2. i doubt there are many {the resale value isn't great for most}

I know i have a stack of cisco kit gathering dust in my attic as no one wants second hand {perfect condition} routers.
and also have a bunch of cheap ass makes too

more important is what type of router do you need ADSL/ISDN/x25/ATM etc as there is a world of different network types and a router {predominantly} is used to route from one type {media} of network to another

3. you can check ebay or you can google it up

4. I assume that you are looking for a rather higher end device such as Cisco if you are looking for used. If you're looking for something cheaper or don't really care about the brand then you are better off going to Best Buy and buying new. The cheaper ones are not worth buying used. Contact the second post on here if you want something nice. I've used Cisco and Adtran many times for DSL and T1 installs and networks. Siemens has some decent routers though they are generally modem routers, at least the ones I've seen. Higher end, in my opinion, is Cisco. Linksys is owned by Cisco and they are a cheaper product.

5. I've utilized the online network equipment reseller Baynetwork.com to purchase a used router as well as a used switch for my company and had great results. Compared to buying new, you receive about a 70% discount, as well as are provided a good warranty in case you are worried about the product not working.

I know there a number of other online resellers, but Baynetwork is the only one I've used so far, and I haven't had a problem with them. I know they offer both Cisco and Juniper routers as far as brands, they may also sell some others.
