Can not access my linksys router?

I have internet access on both my desktop and my laptop. Whenever I type in 192.168.1.1 it ask for username and password. I have tried every password I have used on it in the past, even the usernam: (blank) password:admin, and still cannot access the router. However I can access my modem using 192.168.0.1 and it'll show me my settings. Need to know how to access router. Thanks.

1. Username: Admin
Password: Admin

That's the default for linksys routers. If it doesn't work, reset your router.

2. usually the user name is:SSID
the password is: admin

3. I do not normally recommend this, and use it with a great deal of care.
If you have a problem and you do not remember the password, you can erase all configuration from the router. Only do this if you know how to re-configure the router properly, if you do not, get a knowledgeable person that you know and get them to reconfigure it and tell you what they are doing. Write down what they tell you and store it in a safe place.
Use the reset button on the router and it will erase everything.

4. Default user names:
* Linksys BEFW11S4, WRT54G: admin
* Linksys EtherFast Cable/DSL Ethernet routers: Administrator
* Linksys Comcast routers: comcast
* All other Linksys routers: [none]

Default passwords:

* Linksys BEFW11S4: [none]
* Linksys Comcast routers: 1234
* All other Linksys routers: admin

Where the word [none] is listed above, no name or password is required. Simply skip or press the Enter/Return key when prompted for those settings.
