is there anyway to access the router settings without the password?

i've lost the username/pw for the router, and i need to access it to change the wireless settings, i can't reset because there are a bunch of printers and computers connected and it'd be way too complicated to reconnect everything

1. no

2. no you need to password - all you can do is hard reset it, so it reverts to factory settings and then login and setup again from scratch

3. By default, there isn't a password. Just click submit or whatever button allows you to proceed.

4. Looks like you're SOL.

If getting into a router by circumventing the authorization were easy, don't you think every home router in the world would be vulnerable to being hacked?

This is why mapping your network and maybe even safely storing access credentials is a good idea.

5. Nope

6. There will probably be a reset button on the back of your router. But be careful because you will reset all the information on the router including the connection details for your ISP (Provider) but your router can probably find the settings automatically but you will most likely need a username and pass for the ISP.

But you say you cant reset. Is that because your printers have static IP? Because if not and your computers and everything have dynamic IP's then who cares? The router will pick up the devices...just reset it.

Thats your only option really.

7. Look up the router online to find out the default password. Most of them have a button you have to put a pin inside to push to reset the router back to the defaults. If it is a linksys router, I believe the password is admin.
