How do i access my router channels?

Well first, how do i access my router? I got to device manager, but that's about all i know. Is it a processor, modem, or what?

Then i want to set a router channel. My laptop keeps geting kicked off of the internet when ever someone calls on my dads work phone, and it's really annoying. Thanks for your help

1. click start, run, then type in cmd and hit ok
in the prompt that comes up type ipconfig and hit enter
there will be numbers that pop up.
take the number from the default gateway - 192.168.1.1 or w/e it is and type that in to your internet browser.
it will connect you to the router
