How do I access my router's admin panel without knowledge of the password?

It is not my router it is my mom's router and I need to know how to access my router's admin panel without knowledge of the routers admin panel password? It is important (Linksys WRT54G)
She has changed the default passwords.
She won't give it to me because she has these weird security ideas about open networks

1. Defult userbames and passwords for routers are usually
Username: admin
Password:admin

In not contact your system administrator and ask for the pass (I'm guessing your mum)
