What is the numbers you type on to access your router homepage?
I need to access it to change passwords and stuff, but I forgot the number. Some one told it to me one time, and I put it in browsers bar and I got to the page of my router where I could configure things.
I think it was like a 192. something number??
Public Comments
1. 192.168.0.1
2. Usually one of these:
http://192.168.0.1/
http://192.168.1.1/
3. best to go to the routers homepage and see what they have on the manual
there are configured so many ways
I could give you over a 100x of them they use
but its too hard to remember them all
Tempo1: remember there is also
10.1.1.0
10.0.0.1
etc etc
4. The way to know FOR sure:
Open Command Prompt / DOS Prompt (start->run->cmd.exe)
Type:
ipconfig [ENTER]
Read the default gateway line that comes out. That will be the IP address you're looking for, just add the "http://" before it and place it in your browser.
5. Do this:
1.Click on the Start button.
2.Click Run...
3.In the text box, type in
cmd
and press Enter.
4.A black "DOS box" window will pop up. Type into it
ipconfig /all
and press Enter.
5.A bunch of seeming gibberish will fill the screen. In the section "Ethernet adapter Local Area Connection," on the line next to "Default Gateway" your router's IP address should appear.
Good luck.
6. XP
1) Goto Start/Run
2) Type in "cmd"
Vista
1) Click the Start button
2) Type in "command"
Once you are in the command prompt:
1)Type in "ipconfig"
2) In your Internet browser type in "http://" followed by your default gateway (found in the command prompt)
***Example: http://192.168.1.1 (try clicking the link)
