Wireless Card? If im planning to use a router will i need a wireless card on the host computer too? and also is there any way might have a built in router?

Wireless card? I have Fios fiber optics which is running at, at least, 100Mbps. My computer has a wireless card that maxes out at 54Mbps. I can't find a wireless card that's faster. Is there some secret way to do this or do I just need to run a wire between them?
