how do I build a router table? I have a DeWalt 621 plunge type router, and I want to convert it into a mounted device on a router table. I cannot find any plans online so if anyone can help me with this that would be great. My goal is to convert some of my hand power tools into desktop, or bench/standalone work tools: plunge router into a router table; my skil saw into a table saw.

I want to build a router like device that can send a signal from one point to another? But I don't know what I will need. I searched the internet and i have not found one site that tell me in detail the components and hardware needed to build your own server, router, or any kind of wireless device. But like I said I really would like to know how to build my own device that can send a wireless 5ghz signal a couple of feet way. I'm sending a big piece of information and i need it to be fast, reliable, and most of all i need it to work. Any suggestions will be helpful
How to bypass router to modem when the router has a built in modem? So my wireless router has a modem built into it, or is it the other way around: modem with built in router. Lol, I'm not sure... But anyway, because I am having such difficulties with the ps3 online, I have been told by many people to try bypassing the router straight to the modem. Is this possible with my situation?? Thanks in advance.
Is it possible to have a modem with built in router, going into another router? Ok, we have AT&T yahoo dsl for our internet and we have the modem that has the built in wireless router. Its great and all but I'm tired of having a weak/no signal in our upstairs bedrooms. I wanted to know is it possible to buy another router, specifically a Netgear RangeMax wirelss N, router linked from our current one. I want a wireless N router so it can reach to the ends of our house with the best possible signal. I already know about wireless-n adapters to get the best speed, but I just want the best signal right now. So does anybody know if its possible to link another router from our current one? and if so, would it interfere with our current wired/wireless setup? (Just 1 laptop with wireless and xbox 360 with network adapter upstairs.)
Do you know of a guide for building your own router with a pc and freebsd? I've shopped around and read reviews. It doesn't seem like anyone out there is producing anything that is really quality for SOHO. I read a blog where a guy said he had purchased 5 different routers in 5 months, each one quit working within 30 days. I have a linksys router now that I have to power cycle every three days and I don't want to just spend more money on more junk; hence my decision to try and build my own device. I am very familiar with pc hardware and all of that. All I really know of freebsd though is that it's UNIX and is supposedly very secure. What I need is a step by step tutorial on how to set things up on the software side so that I have the equivalent of a router/switch type device with DHCP, NAT and other useful protocols. -Thanks in advance
How do I get around my apartment building wireless router? It's blocking me from being able to download any torrents. Can anyone show me what to do and how to setup bittorrent for this situation? I think I may need to find an open port somewhere and not sure how to do it. Is there anyway to bypass this wireless router? Is there a special software to install to get around this situation? I would appreciate any help you can give. Thanks....

But will my service provider be able to see that i have two computers on the same modem?
Frequent Router Resets (Windows 7 [build 7100])? For some reason, my router will reset for about 30 seconds every.... 1/2 an hour or so. It always comes back, but resetting every 30 minutes or sooner is quite annoying. I'm using Windows 7 build 7100 on a Verizon FiOS router (this computer is directly connected/ethernet) and firefox browser. Though I believe the macs in my house do the same thing. Any solutions?
